A Maze’N Things is one of Phillip Island’s most popular family attractions and if you haven’t been in a while (or have never been) it’s absolutely worth a visit.
You won’t be able to miss it as the theme park is marked by a head-turning giant floating tap that floods the house below. Our kids squealed every time they saw it driving down Phillip Island Road!
General admission gets you access to Puzzle Island, Magic Manor and the Giant Maze. You can also add admission to Parky’s 19-Hole Mini-Golf and the SkyTrail high ropes course.
The SkyTrail is a tree top walk and high ropes course suitable for kids who are 120cm+.
Unfortunately this meant that we had to miss it but we still spent 2 hours having fun with puzzles, illusions, the maze, mini golf and playground.
At the puzzle house, we enjoyed old-fashioned interactive fun, with mirrors, trickery and gags galore.
The kids most enjoyed Puzzle Island – Lady AB zoomed along on a flying boogie board and Baby 2.0 loved driving (and crashing) trains on a big screen!
Most recently opened at A Maze’N Things is Magic Manor, which is themed around magic. Here, you’ll be surprised and delighted by magic tricks, optical illusions, riddles and more.

The maze is enormous (there are over 2 km of pathways to meander through!) We actually found it quite difficult, even with wooden platforms that you can climb to get a bird’s eye view of the area.
It’s a fun activity made to challenge families with confusing turns and many dead ends.
I’ve been told that it takes an average 45 minutes to complete the maze. If your group gets confused or tired you can always take the easy way out via the emergency exit.
Lastly, we headed to Parky’s Mini Golf course where the kids enjoyed having a hit around the beautifully landscaped course.
The holes are fun and a little challenging for youngsters, however you could easily complete just half of the course if desired.
If you’re holidaying in Phillip Island A Maze’N Things is a great destination to keep the kids amused for a couple of hours. It’s suitable for toddlers right up to adults and most of the puzzle house is pram accessible.

- SkyTrail is only open for children 120cm+; and requires pre-booking online or at the gatehouse onsite for a 1 hour session;
- Children between 120 – 140 cm need an adult chaperone;
- Take food, snacks and water bottles with you;
- Baby change facilities available;
- Play mini golf first so you don’t have to wait for other players before your turn (most people do the puzzles first);
- Expect to spend about 2-3 hours there, including the playground and lunch. BBQs on site for Maxigolf customers;
