What is Beings?
Beings is an enchanting exhibition featuring 13 artworks, including four new ones, from Universal Everything’s 20-year career.
This international art and design collective is known for creating captivating digital creatures using cutting-edge technology. Their work has been showcased worldwide, from Seoul to New York – and Beings is their first time in Melbourne.
Interactive Fun for the Whole Family
At Beings, you’ll meet an array of curious characters born from code. These digital artworks come to life through your movements, dances, and play – so kids can see their actions transform into mesmerising creatures on large-scale screens.

Beings Program of Activities
In addition to the main exhibition, Beings features a suite of public programs throughout winter.
Families can enjoy late nights, a contemporary dance series, school holiday activities, and ACMI Preschoolers – interactive, movement, and play-based sessions for children aged three to five years.
