As a bilingual family, I searched and researched for bilingual storytimes for my children when they were babies and toddlers. It turns out that many Melbourne council libraries offer bilingual storytime! These sessions tend to be free drop-in sessions which run during the school term. They give you a chance to meet other bilingual families and children, help your child develop language and motor skills and provide a chance to hear and practice another language.
