The area is surrounded by a low growth of native plants, giving the space an appealing natural aesthetic in its industrial surrounds. There are also several picnic tables, barbecues and toilets and change facilities inside the pavilion.

There’s plenty of free parking right next to the park (3 hours) and the bike and walking track runs alongside. Ron Barassi Snr Park is also close to the shops at Harbour Town and other Docklands attractions around Newquay such as Monument Park and the Lego Education Centre, so add it to the list on your family-friendly Docklands adventure.
