The Wonderland Spiegeltent Festival is set to entertain audiences of all ages this Spring at Federation Square’s The Paddock Thursday 12 September to Sunday 20 October 2019!
The Wonderland Spiegeltent is a vintage 19th century Belgian travelling circus tent and the festival includes a line-up of adult and family shows along with rides, amusements and carnival-style treats for all ages.

Dreamboogie – 13th Sep – 14th Sep 7pm An act that is determined to create their own voice in Blues music, Melbourne-based Dreamboogie features Rebecca Davey, Sam Buckley, Connor O’Neill and Robert B. Dillon. In the 8 years that they have been performing together, they have turned heads, opened ears, and made a significant impact on the Australian Blues scene – touring nationally and performing regular shows at venues in Melbourne and throughout Victoria.
The Fairy Wonderland Show – Sat 14 Sep – Sun 15th Sep, 1pm The Fairy Wonderland show is the ultimate interactive musical fairy show for kids. Come along on a magical journey with Fairy Jasmine, and her best friend Fairy Jack, as they show you all the things fairies get up to in Fairyland and explore what it means to be a true fairy.
Incognito – Tue 17 Sep – Fri 20, 5pm When spy training headquarters are infiltrated by a group of armed acrobats, new to the field spies must use their skills to defend the base… the trouble is they haven’t started training yet! Will chaos ensue or will they defeat the ninjas, stop the bank robbery and save the diamonds?
Don’t Mess with The Dummies – Sat 14 Sep – Sat 5 Oct From the unstoppable Dummies Corp comes an all-new extraordinary adventure! Don’t mess with the Dummies. They’re on an expedition and you’re invited along for the ride. Pack your bag, tie your shoes and get ready for circus-filled hilarity as the Dummies monkey around the jungle, swing through treetops and skip past foliage. With a rockin’ soundtrack, unbelievable acrobatics and trademark Dummies frivolity, let’s get ready to rumble!
Good As New – Fri 20 Sep, 5pm Let your imagination run wild with a visit to your local thrift store. where swinging from the rafters and tumbling down the aisles is encouraged… well, not by the shopkeeper! Watch in awe as circus performers delight with acrobatic feats and expressive performance exploring unity through difference.
The Listies Make You LOL! – Sat 21 Sep – Thu 26 Sep The Listies are serious about being silly. Formed in 2008 by professional idiots Rich Higgins and Matt Kelly, they are now the most sought-after live comedy act for kidults (Kids and their adults) in Australia.
Pirate Circus – Sat 21 Sep – Sun 29 Sep With a larger cast, more circus, more jokes and more pirate mayhem. If your kids loved “Arrr we there yet?” they are going to go absolutely nuts for Pirate Circus! Featuring the incredible acrobats behind cheeky adults shows Elixir and RAILED, you are guaranteed awesome circus tricks and non- stop comedy.
A Day in The Life of You – Fri 27 Sep – Sun 29 Sep, 11am A colourful and fun live children’s show featuring bursts of song, dance and storytelling for children aged 2 to 6. This clever and creative trio of Sprouts, each with a charming and unique personality, spend 50 minutes tackling all the big issues in a little person’s daily life and ensures a love of music will blossom in every mini audience member.
Circus Wonderland – A Mermaid’s Tale – Mon 30 Sep – Sat 5 Oct An ALL NEW all-star lineup of fun and the Golden Era of Circus. Circus Wonderland – A Mermaid’s Tale will keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Monski Mouse’s Baby Disco Dance Hall – Thu 3 Oct – Fri 4 Oct, 11am Baby Disco Dance Hall is designed as a super-fun session of dancing and play with your small person as you bop to an eclectic selection of retro classics, thumping nursery rhymes and funky tunes. Tony Roberts: I’m a Magician Get Me Out of Here – Thu 3 Oct – Fri 4 Oct, 3pm Mind-blowing escapology and magical mayhem are unleashed by Covent Garden’s cheekiest and funniest street performer! For humans 8-80+ Having escaped from chains at festivals in over eight countries around the world, the hilarious and charming Tony Roberts proves the impossible possible as, tied up in knots, he escapes and entertains in this show all about friendship, fun and following your dreams.
