The outdoor pool is perfect for those warm summer days, while the indoor facilities offer a cosy retreat during the cooler months.

Brunswick Pools & Gym
Whether you’re interested in lap swimming or want to get started with swimming lessons, Brunswick Baths has a swimming pool for every age. You can check Brunswick Baths lane availability here.Â
The main pool hall offers two indoor pools. There’s a 20m heated indoor pool (it was 33 degrees on my visit!) with four lanes and a maximum 1.3m depth. It’s used for learn to swim classes, hence its warm water level. When swimming lessons are happening there is usually one lane available for lap swimming.
The waterplay pool is a safe haven for little ones to enjoy water play, under your watchful eye. It features a beach entry and a small climbing structure with sprays and slides.
The spa, sauna and steam room are available for an additional fee on top of pool entry. Those facilities are only suitable for adults.
Outside there’s an eight-lane 50m heated outdoor pool (heated at around 27-28 degrees) and a kids’ splash pad that’s under a shade sail.
Brunswick Gym
If you want to hit your fitness goals, Brunswick Bath Gym is in a separate building accessible via the Brunswick swimming pool. It offers a well-equipped gym, various group fitness classes, personal training or small group training.Â
Brunswick Baths Accessibility
​​Brunswick Baths is equipped to cater for people of all abilities.Â
They have a range of accessible facilities, including aquatic hoist, aquatic wheelchair, changing rooms, free entry for carers (if you have a Companion Card, a person with a disability does not have to pay the entry fee for the carer that comes with them), lifts, parking spaces, railings and ramps.
Active Merri-bek also runs accessible programs.
Brunswick Baths Membership
If you’re a regular visitor, there are a variety of memberships at Brunswick Baths, including aquatic and Brunswick Baths gym membership, programs tailored to seniors and youth, as well as a premium membership that offers access to all six Active Merri-bek centres.Â
Brunswick Baths is also open to casual visitors. As of 2024 Brunswick Baths prices for swimming were $7.80 per adult and $4.90 per child.Â
Brunswick Baths Nearby Facilities
While Brunswick Baths doesn’t have an onsite cafe, there are many options within walking distance, especially on Sydney Road.Â
Parking is generally available at the paid parking area across the street and you can stay for the whole day (payable per hour).
Brunswick Library is also across the road, making it a convenient location for some quiet time before or after your Brunswick pool visit.
