More commonly referred to as PARC Frankston or Frankston pool, this indoor aquatic centre can turn an ordinary day into an affordable splashtastic adventure! 

The centre offers a diverse range of activities that cater to all ages and fitness levels, making it an ideal destination for families and fitness enthusiasts. 

From water slides to the kids’ splash park, numerous indoor pools and an on-site cafe, these are all within reach at PARC.

Frankston Swimming Pools & More

The Frankston aquatic centre boasts several pools designed for different purposes and age groups. 

The highlight for many families is the impressive aquatic playground for splashing, spraying and sliding! Note that the aquatic playground is only turned on at specific times. 

In addition, two thrilling water slides promise endless fun. The Green Constrictor and Blue Python Waterslide aren’t just for kids – they offer an adrenaline rush for adults too! 

And you can slide for an unlimited amount of time with your entry fee! In quieter times (late afternoon for instance) there is almost no wait for an inner tube to go on the waterslide, so Baby 2.0 and Lady AB can go up and down, again and again! 

Note that waterslides are open only at specific times while PARC is open.

The dedicated toddler pool and splash area provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the little ones to play and learn to love the water. Both pools have shallow beach-style entries, bubbles and sprays to enjoy. Set at 32 degrees temperature and at 0.6m at its deepest, kids of all ages will love a splash in these pools.

The warm water exercise pool is great for those seeking gentle exercise or rehabilitation activities. Its soothing waters are ideal for aqua aerobics, therapeutic exercises, or simply unwinding.

Frankston Gym & Wellness Centre

PARC is more than just swimming pools. 

The centre boasts a fully equipped gym with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, group exercise classes, and personal training services. It’s arguably one of the best gyms in Frankston. 

For those looking to relax and rejuvenate, the wellness centre offers a spa, steam room, and sauna, perfect for unwinding after a workout or a busy day. 

Note that there is different pricing depending on whether you’re wanting to visit just the pool area (the 50m pool, aquatic playground, toddler pool and water slides), the Warm Water area which includes access to the warm water pool, spa, sauna, steam room and all other aquatic facilities or full centre access including health clubs and pools.

PARC Frankston Facilities

Families will find PARC to be a godsend, especially during school holidays. The centre regularly hosts family-friendly events and activities in the school holidays, with pool deck activities such as face painting, balloon entertainment, scavenger hunts and inflatables. 

There are multiple family change rooms or gendered change rooms. 

The on-site café offers a range of healthy and delicious meals and snacks, so you can refuel and relax while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the centre.

If you want to enjoy a swim, the health club or the wellness area without kids in tow, PARC offers occasional childcare for children from 6 weeks up to & including 9 years of age for sessions from 9:30am -10:30am and 10:40am – 12:10pm Monday to Friday to coincide with the PARC timetable for group fitness classes. 

The key to making the most of your visit to PARC Frankston is to do a little planning beforehand. Arrive early to beat the crowds and secure a spot with good sightlines to the pool deck. The waterslide queues are shortest at the start and the end of the day. 

Pack snacks or even a full lunch to avoid queues at the kiosk.If you’re intending to visit PARC Frankston regularly, you can purchase multipasses for various areas or even sign up to a PARC membership.
