Carlton Baths is a fantastic community sporting facility, whether you’re looking to work on your fitness goals or cool down from the summer heat for a few hours.

The supervised 25-metre outdoor pool at Carlton Baths is open from October to April. There are two outer lanes set aside for aqua play, then lanes for slow, medium and fast swimmers doing laps.
Kids will be able to enjoy splashing around in the heated toddler pool and shaded aqua playground – the slide and water jets that are perfect for some cool water play on hot summer days!
During the summer school holidays, Carlton Baths pool also offer an inflatable pool gym that’s open for use every Sunday afternoon. To enjoy this special summer feature, note that children must be over 5 years old and able to swim 15 metres independently.
There’s a small patch of grass near the toddler area with a few shady trees. Otherwise, most people lie a towel along the seating framing the perimeter of the outdoor pool, some of which is shaded and some of which is not. There are also banana lounges for relaxation time!
The outdoor pool is generally open every day from 6 am – 8 pm and Carlton Baths prices for pool entry are $6.20 per adult and $3.80 per child.
