HOT: Tails of the West, Highpoint

For the spring school holidays Highpoint Shopping Centre are celebrating  furry, fuzzy and feathery creatures for two weeks with Tails of the West.

All the activities are free and drop-in, no bookings required.

In Week 1, from Monday 24 September to Friday 28 September, you’ll find the awesome Dr Loz and her team from SciencePlay Kids heading up The Science of Tails.

Kids aged 2-12 years can get involved with hands-on science experiments giving the dalmatian its spots using bubbles!….

….learning about the different functions of animal tails…

….view animal skeletons with X-ray lightboxes….

…and learn about dog behaviour and body language.

Activities run from 10-2pm every day at Level 1, outside of JB Hifi.

From Monday 1 October to Friday 5 October everyone’s favourite pups from PAW Patrol will be presenting daily shows 11am and 1pm, with character meet and greets after each show at 12pm and 2pm. The show is on the stage at Level 1 outside JB Hifi.

The Tails of the West finale is on Saturday 6 October with ‘Puppy Palooza’. Bring your dog to Highpoint for a pawsitively perfect day out with a fashion show, photobooth, activity maze and even a dog cafe! 

You’ll find Puppy Palooza at Level 3, In: Transit from 10am-3pm.
