Above and Beyond at Scienceworks is a must-do exhibition for young space and aviation fans! It’s on for a limited time only until Sunday 7 October 2018.
Above and Beyond is a new temporary interactive experience at Scienceworks presented by Boeing and produced in collaboration with NASA and the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.
The exhibition explores all things about flight and space travel and the amazing advances in aerospace technology.
Inside the exhibition you can try immersive flight simulations…
…. design your own supersonic jet then test it out…
…pilot a drone….
…. ride a space elevator and even visit Mars! Note that this pod only allows for one person at a time so it can be a bit tough for kids in the queue.
The exhibition is best for kids 4+ years – younger children will probably just enjoy mashing buttons and watching screens.
Also visit the STEM-centered Ground Up permanent exhibition on the ground floor.
