I had assumed that Latitude play centre was only aimed at older kids. In fact, they also have a fantastic under 5s play area for toddlers and preschoolers! I am invited to bring 3.5 year old Baby 2.0 for a test run.

Bounce Latitude Melbourne‘s Kids Zone is set out into three main sections.
There’s a gated padded area with a play centre style adventure playground structure complete with slides, ball pits and ride on toys.

There are parkour obstacles, a bouldering challenge, tightrope test and warped walls. You’ll surely want to keep this on your list fun of Melbourne playgrounds.
When you need a break there’s BaseCamp Cafe upstairs, with seating that provides expansive views over the whole arena. The menu includes hot dogs, salads, sandwiches, cakes and coffee, a step up from the standard indoor play centre fare.
On weekdays access to the Latitude Melbourne Kids Zone is $10 for an unlimited period of time and Baby 2.0 thoroughly exhausts himself after an hour. On weekends, public holidays and school holidays access is $10 for 1 hour, with sessions starting on the hour.
One general session at Latitude Melbourne goes for 60 minutes and bookings are highly recommended, particularly for busy periods such as weekends and school holidays. You can buy multi-passes if you’re a frequent visitor. At Latitude Heidelberg party packages which are very popular are also available.
Latitude opening hours on Weekdays are usually from 10 am to 7pm and can be found at 590 waterdale road, heidelberg 3081. Latitude Melbourne prices are $20 for your first hour plus $13 for an aditional hour.
