Rabbit Hole Play Centre is closed until further notice.
The Huge Rabbit Hole play centre in Braybrook is aiming to be the best play centre in the Southern Hemisphere!
The playground is a kids playcentre custom built by Imagination Play and is the brainchild of four parents based in Melbourne’s west. They have built the kind of playspace that their kids would enjoy and the sort of place they’d want to take their children.
First off – shoes off! Sock are required to play and for hygiene purposes shoes are not allowed inside the play center, other than on the indoor rock-climbing wall and inside the kitchen.
The play equipment is all about fostering open-ended, creative and active play.
Party rooms include a disco room and cooking school, with a total of ten multi-functional rooms to choose from.
The centrepiece is a glowing white ball pit, a magnet for babies to older kids. There’s even a ship’s hull to clamber over and slide down.
Other play spaces include Space World, a series of climbing frames that connects to the huge Funstairs…
….multiple slides, ramps and play elements as part of Beach World…

The Cooking School is not usually for general play and will be open for regular activities, cooking workshops and parties. So if you’re looking for play centres for birthday parties, your kids will surely enjoy everything that will take place during rabbit hole parties.
Rabbit Hole is staffed with qualified supervisors who not only look out for the kids but interact and play with them too. Most of the equipment has good vantage points from the seating in the cafe area, other than the Space World and Water World, which are in the two back corners. And for little kids watch out for some of the enclosed netted climbing structures as you may be required to rescue them!
The entry prices are not cheap, but during our visit my kids play non-stop for 2 hours and we only leave because the centre is closing. I can imagine them easily spending 4-5 hours inside and so it makes a value-for-money hot/cold/wet weather option for active kids. So for family with restless kids looking for a place to release of that fun filled energy then this kids playcentre should definitely be on your must visit list.
Note that no outside food is allowed inside Rabbit Hole so there is an onsite café, serving a variety of food alongside barista-made coffees. And finally, there’s a tempting lolly shop on your way out!
It’s also part of Braybrook Shopping Centre so you can even tempt the kids with a visit after your grocery shop.
