HOT: Lollipops Playland, Clyde North

Lollipop’s Playland in Clyde North is the newest member of the Lollipop’s franchise family, and it’s sure to become the hottest hangout for the local under-10 crowd.

We are invited to get a sneak peek of Lollipop’s Clyde North before it opens to the public and can report that we have a blast!

As with other Lollipop’s franchises, children are given a coded wristband on entry, and parents must supply the matching security tag on exit.

Girl Monday is eager to explore the entire play centre, but only with me alongside. Luckily, adults are also allowed in the structures, providing that socks (byo or buy for $3.50) are worn.

She is especially fond of the gated toddler play area, where the translucent “water slide” is a particular hit.

Approximately every hour, kids 5+ years can go on the supervised rock climbing wall and the amazing flying car ride.

Girl Monday and I both highly recommend the flying car as the absolute highlight of our visit!

The play centre centrally located seating so that parents can sit closest to where their kids are playing.   If your kids are comfortable with most of the equipment then you can confidently sit down and enjoy a break while they climb, jump, slide and ride.

As is standard for the Lollipop’s brand, no outside food other than baby formula is permitted. The onsite cafe has kids sandwiches from $3.90 and kids meals for $7.95. There are also snacks, salads, pizza, meals, all-day breakfast, and sweet treats. Vegan and gluten-free options are available. Coffee is by Lavazza and is amazing!

There are male and female restrooms, as well as a unisex combination disabled/baby change room. Children may require assistance accessing the sinks and hand dryers which are high up.

There are four party rooms with seaside, jungle, underwater, and fairy tale themes and party packages start from $219.

Along with the play equipment you can book for Build-A-Bear activities which cost extra. They are also planning special sessions, which may include sensory and yoga. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for more info!

  • Entry fee includes unlimited play. No need to book;
  • Children and adults must wear socks. No socks no play;
  • You cannot BYO food and drinks, baby food and formula excepted;
