Now open at The District Docklands until June 2024,  the official fan experience endorsed by the NBA offers families a perfect blend of education and entertainment – and as it’s indoors it’s great for all weather conditions.

Some of the more memorable activities and experiences include the “Measure Up!” exhibit, where kids can compare their handprints and shoe sizes with legendary players.

Highlighting the global influence of Australian players in the NBA, the exhibition includes a dedicated section featuring homegrown talent. 

There’s also a display of original artwork by Australian and First Nations artists that showcases a creative blend of basketball and local culture.

How do I buy tickets to the NBA Exhibition Melbourne?

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Kids under 3 years don’t need a ticket. 

Carers are allowed in free, simply show proof of needing a carer ticket at the entrance. 

Note that ticket entry is timed – if you miss your session you can enter depending on the capacity.

What is the ticket exchange and refund policy for NBA Exhibition Melbourne?

Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your ticket. You need to email Fever with your ticket ID. 

Refunds are not allowed.

Is NBA Exhibition Melbourne accessible?

The venue is wheelchair accessible. Service animals are allowed inside. 

No strobe lights are used and prams are NOT allowed inside the exhibition. 

The exhibition is a walk-through experience so there are limited chairs/seating available.

How to get to NBA Exhibition Melbourne

The exhibition is located The District Docklands, Level 1/116 Studio Lane,  Docklands VIC 3008

You can arrive by train (Southern Cross station) or tram. The District Docklands is located in the Free Tram Zone. 

There is affordable parking at The District Docklands, where the first 90 minutes are free.

How long should I expect to spend at NBA Exhibition?

We spent about 60 minutes in the exhibition.

To avoid crowds, consider visiting during weekday mornings.

Are there toilets inside the NBA Exhibition?

No – there are toilets outside the exhibition within The District Docklands – so we recommend that you go to the toilets before you enter the exhibition.

Can you buy food and drinks inside the NBA Exhibition?

No, there are no food and drinks available for purchase inside the exhibition. Check out nearby dining spots at The District Docklands to round off your day with a delightful meal.
