The Langham Hotel Paddington Bear Package

Created by British author Michael Bond in 1958, Paddington is a friendly bear from Peru who loves marmalade sandwiches.

Little E loves this fun-loving character – a cute bear known for his politeness and good intentions, despite often getting into trouble. So we are thrilled to discover The Langham Melbourne‘s hotel package that celebrates all things Paddington!

Paddington’s iconic association with London, and the British culture that the Langham brand embodies, make it the perfect fit for such a unique experience.

The Playtime with Paddington package includes fun Paddington-branded gifts, a luxurious room stay, and a scrumptious buffet breakfast.

As the package is suited to just one child, this is ideal for a one-on-one parent-child getaway.

Our Paddington Melbourne Experience

As we walk into our hotel room, Little E is excited to see the pink Paddington-themed teepee set up for her with lush cushions in a cosy little sleeping nook.

As part of the Playtime with Paddington package we stay in an Executive Terrace Room which has a spacious balcony and the MOST incredible views of the city. Little E and I spend a lot of time just sitting and watching the city from above!

Breakfast at Melba Restaurant

Seated at a table overlooking the Yarra, the breakfast buffet at Melba Restaurant is simply divine and it’s included as part of the Paddington package.

With an extensive selection of dishes, high-quality ingredients, and a sophisticated atmosphere, it’s easily one of the most memorable family dining experiences we’ve had.

From continental favourites like freshly baked pastries, bread, and croissants to hearty hot dishes including eggs, bacon, french toast, and grilled vegetables. There’s even a chocolate fountain!!

We toast some bread with marmalade for Paddington, who joins us at our comfortable table.

One of the highlights of the breakfast buffet at Melba is the live cooking stations, where guests can watch as the chefs prepare made-to-order dishes right before their eyes.

Whether it’s omelettes, pancakes, waffles, or Asian specialties like noodles and dim sum, the live cooking stations add an interactive element to the dining experience.
