The Funderdome, Highpoint: Home Of Unprofessional Sport

Socialise, play and win big at Highpoints’ new multi-attraction, arcade venue The Funderdome.

The Funderdome is a world-class two-level destination (next to Hoyts Highpoint Cinemas) where visitors are invited to join in the fun and competitive activities including a crazy golf course, arcade games, karaoke rooms and diner-inspired eats.

They’re billing The Funderdome as the “Home of unprofessional sport”!

As you enter be wowed by the massive clubhouse, the centre of the action at The Funderdome. The 2,000 square metre space is divided into five main sections.

The kids and adults alike will love Playas Crazy Golf where you’ll find 18 holes of retro, Coney Island funfair themed putt-putt.

You can play 9 or 18 holes, and the holes cover two levels.

You can also opt to belt out your favourite tunes in two private karaoke lounges fittingly called ‘Boom Box Karaoke’.

27

The old-school arcade is probably the kids’ favourite spot (after the mini golf) with classic golden age video games like Pac-Man and the world’s largest Space Invaders game…

Next door to the old-school arcade is the new-school arcade where you’ll be able to go all out on the latest arcade and redemption games, including virtual reality games…

24

You’ll need to book mini-golf and karaoke and top up your Funderdome card to play games in the Old and New School Arcades.

29

There are more paid games in the Clubhouse area, including Pong and foosball, as well as free giant Jenga and shuffleboard.

32

In the arcade areas and the Clubhouse you can order food and drinks for table delivery. There are fun cocktails paired with diner-inspired food such as hotdogs and fries, buffalo chicken tenders (watch out, very spicy!), classic Coney Island corn dogs and woodfired pizzas.

The children’s menu is $12 and the portions are generous – the kids easily share a cheesy pizza.

funderdome birthday parties

The Funderdome birthday party and group bookings start from $40 per person and Lady AB has already requested to have her birthday party there. It’s a winner in our household!

Note that kids under the age of 18 have to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Funderdome is open from Sunday to Thursday 10 am to Midnight, and 10 am to 1 am on Friday and Saturday.  In addition, Funderdome becomes an adult-only venue after 8 pm. On Unlimited Mondays, it’s all-you-can-play (minus skill testers) for $22 after 5pm.
